John is Teh Balls

One of my best friends-at-work, Little A, is very, very pregnant. She was planning to work right up to delivery, but I told her she needed to at least work from home. I'm pretty sure I will puke if water breaks anywhere near me. Even my own.

She started working from home this week. I got a text message this morning, saying that her water broke early today, so he ought to be here soon! I'm so stoked, I can't even talk about it. I love babies.

One of my bosses, who we will call John (since that is his name) and I made about 70 labels on the label printer last night. Each of them simply says, "John is Teh Balls". Our intention is to place them randomly around the office, just enough to freak people out. Like, under the extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. At the bottom of the printer tray in the big copier. All the hell over another worker's desk, and hopefully, nobody will be able to find goo-gone. This was most assuredly the highlight of my day at work, yesterday.

I did keep one for myself, but I hung in a place where you really cannot see it unless you are sitting at my desk. I'm pretty sure I will not get fired for that.

HeNameCalvin, do you remember him? He's that insanely loud co-worker. Anyway, he has a blog, a blog which I googled until I found it, but I can't link to it because I don't want him to read this. Anywayz, I made up a google ID - Ura Doushbeg - and spammed his blog with comments that just say "John is Teh Balls". That was the second highlight of my day.
If I could find a way to work "John is Teh Balls" into my Clarity email today, I so would. I can't though - that's pushing it.

Long Duck is mercifully in New York City this week, and has lots of Big Meetings next week, so I'm getting off with very little interaction. He's doing my year-end review on Friday, but I'm not really freaked out about it (yet). I know that I have either a 1, 2, or a 3. I don't expect a 1, but I think a 2 is very possible - perhaps even probable, so that's all good. I hate to grudgingly admit this, but I am starting to enjoy that guy. He's not a TERRIBLE boss, though he might not be the greatest manager in the world. He's actually pretty good to me...

I have Quilt class with Janie and Simply Unpredictable tomorrow. After which, we are going to go and file our taxes. We are so awesomely exciting.
Happy weekend. John is Teh Balls!
