Projects Update.

So. I have been working on catching up on my projects list. Last night I made Beanie's pillowcase - he picked out the fabric and specifically requested it. I'm not sure pictures show very well, but here's what it looks like. There is a mad cool herringbone stitch trim, but you can't really tell:

After I finished the pillowcase, which took all of ten minutes, I started working on the baby quilt for Little C. His room is all sports-themed, so the topper fits that mode. I am not done with it, but I'm about half through piecing the top, and it's sooo cute, and I didn't use a pattern (!) so I'm a little extra proud:
The back is white SUPER SOFT flannel with baseball gloves and balls and bats. SOOOO cute. I'm going to keep the quilting simple, but probably do it in navy thread. How great at this am I becoming???
Pretty soon, I'm going to start taking orders (yeah, right!)...
Is it psycho that I love doing the sewing so much? You know how they say you should find something you love and turn it into your job? Could I make money doing this???

If you ever decide you can (and want to) do the stay-at-home mom thing, you could make quilts and sell them at craft shows or in those little boutiques that sell handmade stuff for some extra money.

Actually, you could still do that even if you're not a SAHM (you just might have more time for the sewing if you were).
